Course Description:
International Relations in European Region course is designed for third-year students in the International Relations Study Programme Universitas Kristen Indonesia. It brings a lot of learning and discussion about European region and the dynamics of international relations at this geographic area of high historical values. A new issue arising is the EU and ASEAN interregionalism. This course will provide students with insight into how the member states as well as the European Union itself are international actors. In particular, in inter-regional relations between Europe and Southeast Asia, the issues that arise will be studied and reviewed using various perspectives in the study of International Relations. Interesting issues among others are integration, trade, migration, partnership, and institutionalisation of these two strategic regions.

Objective:
To open up international relations issues in European region to the students, especially the latest issue of EU and ASEAN interregionalism.
